SERIES NO. 1 - LAYNE

Full-lume dial. C3 Grade X1 Super-LumiNova. Built to light up.

The Layne is the first watch I've created under M. Ryan Watch Designs. I wanted the design to have a strong presence on the wrist without relying on oversized dimensions or unnecessary decoration.

The Full-Lume dial version takes the Layne in a completely different direction. The entire dial is finished with C3 Grade X1 Super-LumiNova, creating an exceptionally bright luminous surface in low light. Black printed hour numerals provide the contrast, giving the dial its distinctive look while keeping the layout clean and highly legible.

MADE TO BE WORN

At 41mm with a 48mm lug-to-lug, the Layne has a substantial wrist presence while maintaining balanced proportions. The front crystal and exhibition caseback both use sapphire crystal with a regulated Miyota 9132 inside the case as the beating heart of the watch.

FIRST PRODUCTION RUN - 300 WATCHES

The first Layne production run is 300 watches across five versions.

Only 100 Full-lume dial watches will be produced in this first run.

Production is already underway, with estimated shipping beginning February 2027. Pre-orders ship in the order they are received.
