Black sunburst dial. Classic Layne.

The Layne is the first watch I've created under M. Ryan Watch Designs. I wanted the design to have a strong presence on the wrist without relying on oversized dimensions or unnecessary decoration.

The black sunburst dial gives this version a classic, versatile character. It changes subtly with the light, while the contrasting markers and hands keep the dial highly legible at a glance.

MADE TO BE WORN

At 41mm with a 48mm lug-to-lug, the Layne has a substantial wrist presence while maintaining balanced proportions. The front crystal and exhibition caseback both use sapphire crystal, and Swiss Super-LumiNova is used generously on the hands and markers.

FIRST PRODUCTION RUN - 300 WATCHES

The first Layne production run is 300 watches across five versions.

Only 50 Black Dial watches will be produced in this first run.

Production is already underway, with estimated shipping beginning February 2027. Pre-orders ship in the order they are received.
